Re: Connection drop out
Same for me, Internet's dropped, also working from home. Being a consultant, I can't book time to my client, so I don't get paid. Do we know when this will be sorted Sky?

Re: Connection drop out
There is no guaranteed reply on the community, other customers like yourself offer their time free of charge to help others so sometimes you may not get a reply if people are busy. The 24hr figure you may have seen likely to relates to the community average time for replying to a post, not a guarantee figure.
I would also make the point that community members tend not to reply to threads where multiple different users reply with 'I have a similar issue' because it gets very messy very quickly when you try to diagnose 4 different peoples issue in one thread when in actual fact they all likely have different causes to the problem.
If you want help from the community I would recommend creating your own separate thread and someone may reply there.
Myself & Others offer our time to help others, please be respectful.

Re: Connection drop out
@Chris252 if you want help please pist your Sky Hub stats see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics
You mention you are buying Sky Broadband Boost I assume you are aware the promised speed is 3Mb/s in every room?. If a booster does not deliver thst Sky will credit the £5 you paid which for most people is pretty hopeless. Each home has different issues with Wifi due to the layout, type of construction and level of interference which is why you have to take Sky's msrketing hype with a grain of salt.
A booster can help in some setups where the signal needs a bit of help to reach say a second floor but. the booster needs careful placement as it needs a strong signal to boost so should be halfway between the hub and where you need the boost. Its worthalso checking the hub is in the best position which is as central in the property as possible and well above furniture and radiators. However a booster is of often of limited help, in a property with solid internal walls or with 3 levels..
There are multiple other solutions you can buy these include whole home wifi mesh kits, powerline networking and indeed replacing the Sky hub with a third party router. All cost money so before spending money if you post some details of your set up and what usage you need as solutions for gaming are differentvsay than for streaming video.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
