Connecting to Samsung tv
We have a sky hub at the bottom of or stairs with an extender at the top of the stairs. Until recently my daughter has had a sky mini box in her room which her Samsung tv has connected to. Since we have got rid of the sky mini box her tv has not connected to the wifi. We've tried switching it all off at the plug before restarting it all, using wps to connect but, apart from an approx one minute connection once, it refuses to connect. Can anyone give us any ideas on what to try?

Re: Connecting to Samsung tv
What happens when you get the TV to search for your Wifi network and connect to it via your wifi password ?

Re: Connecting to Samsung tv
So we reset the routers and it has been working for the last couple of days but tonight it has stopped working again. Seems she can't get wifi, in her room, on her phone or iPad either. It's the first time we've played F1 online on the Xbox on at the same time since we thought we'd sorted it. I'm able to stream downstairs although it occasionally buffers. My youngest is able to play Roblox this week without it affecting her connection.

@wes+and+bex Have you tried just starting all from the begining, You say you have a sky mini, so do you also have a sky Q, have you went to Sky Max hub and pod's at the sacrifice of the old Sky Q mesh.., and ditched the old SR203 hub and any older Extenders if you had before.

Re: Connecting to Samsung tv
We reset the routers and thought that sorted the problem. We have sky Q box and got rid of the mini box in May which is when she started struggling with the wifi. We have the router and extender that they gave us when we signed up to broadband years ago. Definitely the Xbox using all the WiFi as when it was switched off her tv worked!

Re: Connecting to Samsung tv
@wes+and+bex That's your whole problem the mini box acts as a wireless wi-fi hotspot to give wi-fi exactly there, your option is to try re-positioning the extender to cover the room, and DO NOT be fooled that going closser to the room is the best way....
Your xBox and Room competing for the wi-fi and the xBox is winning hands down....
For me this is what i would try first, Ethernet connect the TV, have wireless in the room from it, and it's a better if all on the same level up/down stairs may struggle with speed.... Other wise more boosters and possible problems.
