Confusion with Open Reach re Full Fibre
My full fibre installation was meant to happen last Friday but the Sky engineers found out there was no live data coming through the Open Reach line so it had to be passed back to them. Was told they would run tests at their end and if they needed to come out to the property, they'd do so and I wouldn't need to be home as before. Just got a text from Open Reach to say sorry we missed you and click here to rearrange installation visit! But when I click into it, it just shows the Sky engineers booking date and doesn't let me do anything else.
I know they're meant to turn things around in 48 hours so they've got until end of Tuesday before I contact Sky to find out what's going on - but just wondered if anyone else had come across this? Computer error or incorrect information being passed on?
In the meantime, Sky box kept trying to connect to new router and didn't have internet for a good chunk of the day/night, so ended up turning new router off so it could connect to old router properly. What a faff on!! Obviously turned new router back on this morning so Open Reach could do their tests (or not ...).

@buffymad As your postings are all over the place and multiples now, you would be advised to CALL sky now, no waiting the longer you do the longer it is going to take. What is the current situation do you still have multple sky Hubs connected or not!

How are my posts all over the place? I'm literally describing what I was told by the attending Sky engineers and the latest position? Not all of us are super tech savvy!!
Won't know until I get home if Open Reach have done their remote testing or not but the fact I'm receiving texts asking me to book an installation suggests not!
I'll be having to switch new router off tonight again if not up and running - and use old router connected to Sky box with Ethernet cable - otherwise no internet and unable to watch On Demand etc as keeps trying to connect to new router (which has no internet light on because of no live data coming down OR wire/cable.
