Complete failure by Sky
I arranged online for my Broadband and Landline to be transferred to Sky.
The Activation Date has passed, and my Landline phone has been disconnected.
Further the Braodband has not been activated. The only useful message I've received from Sky is that they've sent me the wrong router and are sending me a replacement. However on checking, I find the replacement has not yet been dispatched.
The Transfer to Sky is a complete failure and a complete disaster. I regret leaving my former provider Plusnet

Re: Complete failure by Sky
@RobertD Did you have Sky do everything regarding the change off provider using the OTS system?

Re: Complete failure by Sky
I confess I do not know what the OTS system is.
I used one of the comparative websites (I think it was moneysupermarket) to find that Sky was reasonably priced and then proceeded from there. In a sense, I used their link to Sky in order to do the transfer.

Re: Complete failure by Sky
@RobertD OTS is One Touch Switching, you place the order on sky, they gather all the information required, check and if good accept the order, arrange the install and all that is associated with it, send a notice to your current provider that you are moving to sky and they will take care off you from the activation propossed date onwards, any issues they DO not say until it is good/up and running with sky so that YOU do not lose the Internet/Phone etc, but that sometimes falls down.
There does seem to be a mix up going on currently about routers been sent as the wrong one, so know idea what is going on with that from the sky point off view, If you have received one from SKY it would be good to know what, label on the outside off the box say's what it is.
The Forum does not know what you got, what you have or ANY details as customers just like yourself trying to help where we can.
