Changed connection date

Hi there, I signed up for Sky Broadband last night on the understanding that my connection date would be 24 May (which was confirmed by email). However, this morning it has said the connection date is 28 May. This new connection date is not acceptable as I work from home full time and only sighed up based on the 24 May date. Please advise why it has changed and please revert to the original agreed date. Thanks, Daniel

@DFaith You are not contacting customer support here, the forum i mainly customer to customer support with a few Sky staff who can only assist with certain issues.

If the date has been moved that will be down to Openreach and will have been done because the original date is no loner available, its unlikely you will be able to have it moved forward, stating you work from home will have no effect either as Sky broadband is a domestic only service and if you job requires you to work from home full time you should really be using an appropriate work/business grade service.

@DFaith

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable and so give a clue about the resources required.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
