Hi transferring from Virgin and Sky say there's a cease on the account, Virgin say not and never heard of?! 5th April transfer date - how do you fix it with sky ?!

A cease usually only occurs when a previous owner/occupant hasn't stopped their service before the new occupant moves in
Best call sky to sort out

Thanks just did they say this was a mistake ! But openreach need to clear the account and a review has been placed for 48hrs ! It's gonna be tight for a 5th April disconnect from Virgin then ?

Ideally thats why we advise to leave some overlap between leaving virgin and moving to sky. They are seperate networks and different cabling so the installation and any delays by openreach will not affect virgin
