I have an issue.
My WIFI was slow today, rang Sky & they recommended I press and hold the reset button on my WiFi router for 10 seconds which apparently changes the channel on the internet and perhaps speeds things up again.
Since then multiple devices like my VR headset which was working fine prior is not not connecting to my WiFi without prompting a captive WIFI portal sign in. When I try and doesn't load anything and so I'm in this limbo now of devices no longer wanted to connect to my existing WiFi. If I hotspot those same devices that have this issue to my phone the issue doesn't exist.
Can anyone tell me why after holding that reset button this has somehow forcing this captive sign in prompt when it never did prior and how do I stop it. Can it be removed turned off on the settings online? Is it something default that comes on that shouldn't be on?
