I Phoned sky yesterday and the new supplier hasn't informed them. The tv side of the contract has been cancelled, which is shown clearly on the next bill and future bills. For some reason the broadband is still showing up on the future bills. Sky would not confirm the cancellation. How difficult can it be? Just cancel the contract!!

Find out more@Dicky1 if you are moving to any other isp they should use the One Touch Switching system which you will mess up if you cancel with Sky yourself. That the Sky agent could not see Sky has been notified does not change that see here https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/guides/one-touch-switch/
One explanation why cancelling has to be done by an agent is to stop people messing up switches as actual cancellations are very rare.
