Cancel contract

Hiya it is Leahkeesha ankrah I called up last week wanting to cancel my broadband internet box and they said they will be sending me a package out to send the box back but no package has been sent out and it says I only have 5 days before I get charged but I've tried to ring up and speak to someone about it but can't get hold of anyone. What would I have to do?

Remember to keep your proof of posting.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

  • This should help.
  • As we are customers on the forum we can only provide advice.
    However, if you want to discuss an issue with Sky, for the general-purpose number click on "Need more help" at the bottom of this page
    https://www.sky.com/help/home.
    If you are in the ROI set the flag at the bottom of the page accordingly.
    If you have Sky Talk or Sky Mobile dial 150 for a free call to Sky.
  • When you call you will be asked if the call is to do with mobile say "No"
    You will then be asked the nature of the call say " Technical "
    You will be offered a text to the number you are calling on, say "Yes" and a text will be sent DO NOT hang up when it says to do so.
    It will then ask "do you wish to hang up" say " No" you will then be put in the queue for an advisor.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 24 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

Sky Broadband and Sky Talk ~ To cancel totally or if you’re moving to Virgin you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband

You’ll still need to return any loaned router to Sky, so ensure you get proof of posting and keep it indefinitely.
