Can’t watch tv

My tv in the e front room and bedroom are both Samsung since I've had the new broad band fitted I can't watch a full episode of anything g wi th out buffering or the signal completely dropping out on the tvs. I have to re connect to the one upstairs over and over, on my old router I had no problems at all so not sure why it's playing up? The tv in the room with the router is fine.
