Re: Can't update or install apps on android or YouTube not working properly. Yorkshire area,

It was fine before whatever router upgrade went out earlier this month. Then overnight it wasn't. Even just reverting whatever they did (they don't tell us when or what is changing) would be a temporary fix.

Re: Can't update or install apps on android or YouTube not working properly. Yorkshire area,

Update: just tried updating apps on wifi and appears to be working. Guess national coverage kicked someone into action. Now about the compensation.

There is no ETA but you can follow the thread here

A workaround is to use a VPN if you have access to one

Indeed ,around week without full service for me although Youtube is still loading slowly and buffering at the adverts.

I did get compensation for the sky tech visit being late on Monday so thats something I suppose

Re: Can't update or install apps on android or YouTube not working properly. Yorkshire area,

I am now able to update apps on the Google Play Store and YouTube also appears to be stable. It's a shame it took a article from The Sun to get them to do anything about it.
