Cables

How do I get my cables extended? I asked them to do longer cables when I got my sky installed and when they came out to change my wifi box as the cables are insanely short. I asked twice and I've never been told or provided with longer cables so they are very short (the last engineer just pulled on the box).

@Arogerson93 you can buy any of the datacables most any length you need at most hardware stores, largecsupermarketscor on line for a few pounds. Just buy one with the same connecters on the end .

If you still have a service over a copper phone line you need a dsl cable with rj11 connecters. If on full fibre a standard. Ethernet cable with rj45 connecters, minimum Cat5e, but you would struggle to find a cable on sale thay wasn't . Power leads from the power supplies are more difficult most people use a mains extension cables.
