Cable and box in the wall issues

I realised after having virgin media what a great set up they had and how antiquated this is. Iv got the kit, but its missing parts as in not compatable with the setup I have here for the older versions of equipment. Iv had to order an ONT and a phone cable as I do not use the phone anyway, so its not working at the moment. By tomorrow if after paying out for these extra items it does not work then I am sending it back because its been impossible to contact anyone human on the phone or via the chat. All in all its pretty pants.

@Meloney1 if you are having FTTP installed then the engineer will bring the ONT when they come to set it up for you, you should have an engineers visit scheduled for your go live date

As @Laing1 indicates, a customer should never be paying for an ONT: that's the final part of the Openreach network, Openreach provide it and it remains Openreach property at the address.

You may have misunderstood the broadband which Sky is intending to supply and how it is being provisioned.

Incidentally, the Virgin coaxial cable network is a considerably older (and somewhat cruder) technology than both FTTC and FTTP.
