CANNONT CONNECT MY LAPTOP TO WIFI

As soon as I moved from TalkTalk to Sky my laptop displayed a sad blue face.  I have taken it to the repair shop, nothing is wrong and it connects to their wifi. I took it to work and it connects to their wifi. It will not connect to wifi at home with the new Sky 500 fibre unless I plug it direct into the router, thi isn't convenient.  How do I get it to connect to wifi? I can see my network is available , it just won't connect and stay on it just shuts down.  Can anyone help please?

@TJB3838 if you have the white Sky Max hub try reducing thecwifi security level from WPA3-T to WPA2. Thecsrtting can becfound in thecMy Sky app under Product Settings/Sky Max Hub/Advanced Settings.

Re: CANNONT CONNECT MY LAPTOP TO WIFI

It can 'find' my broadband but when it tries to connect (not plugged direct to router) I get a sad blue face screen and it says it will try again then it shuts down. If I plug in directly to the router everything works fine. I have tried to change from wap3T to wap2 as my laptop is older but it still does the same thing
