Business phone line not working after 10 weeks

We were advised by sky of end of life equipment and upgrade to digital.We gave the go ahead and was promised our old number that we have had for over 40 years would be reconnected the following day after upgrade.

it has now been 10 weeks and still no joy of getting our old number connected.

Despite lengthy phone calls,numerous emails and broken promises of phone call back to sort out nothing ever gets done ,

Sky dosnt realise the financial  impact  this has had to our small family owned business over the last 10 weeks and only just surviving at the moment....

This has cost us thousands of pounds and it is now a struggle to stay the least.

can someone somewhere point us in the right direction to take note and look into this instead .

Just to clarify, do you have a functional digital phone line but a different number?

You should never have been told that retention of an existing number is absolutely guaranteed.

We were guaranteed the original number be saved and connected within 24 hours .we have a temp number .
