Hi

where can I get a replacement broadband grey cable that has a purple connector that goes in the back of the broadband hub. My cable is broken.

Typically that's an RJ11 plug at the modem end. If it's going into a wall socket at the other end, that may be RJ11 as well (in a microfilter or filtered faceplate) or a BT jack. You'll find cables like these widely available online.
