@barrywilliams02  First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:

https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

What was the result of the line test you ran, did it find an external fault ?

Given that Sky won't know about the fault and Openreach don't do domestic repairs over weekends, that would be an unwise move if you are in a minimum contract period.

I'm at the end of my contract so looking for better deals,  my internal tests show the line the hub but I'm getting

Followed steps that it suggests it sees the box, the hub, but shows no Internet or wifi
