Broadband upgra
have any you had this text from Sky I done a chat they say it is valid however the text says no change to contract but on the chat they say if you upgrade it is a 24 month contract
Hi it’s Sky.
Your home *is being upgraded to Full Fibre Broadband* as part of the national copper switch-off. We’re offering this upgrade to Full Fibre 100 *at no extra cost* and with no change to your broadband contract - giving you *faster speeds and a more reliable service.*
To get started, click “Yes” and we’ll arrange an engineer as early as 21/04/2026 PM to visit your home (postcode ending 4JZ). If this date doesn’t suit, not to worry, we’ll follow up with all the details about your installation, including how to reschedule if needed.
For more information, search “Full Fibre at no extra cost” on Sky Help.
_If you have a care alarm or your household does not have access to a mobile phone that you can use to call emergency services, please DO NOT respond but call Sky on***** to discuss a Full Fibre upgrade. Please note that prices may vary out of contract. By agreeing, you confirm you're the main account holder._
I am currently superfast 80

I suspect the person you were chatting with was unaware of the terms of that particular offer and was giving you the generic advice for a more usual move to FTTP.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
