Broadband unreliable

My broadband isn't reliable. Every time I run the checks it is working but there seems to be a reliability issue. Three different phone, a laptop and my door bell all work

just fine but then suddenly stop. I can't seem to make WiFi calls that last longer than about a minute without them dropping and team calls on my laptop often stop working. Usually I can still hear and see them but they can't hear or see me. The same thing happens on WhatsApp calls. Often the calls fail altogether after only seconds or minutes. I have tried a TP link, wired connection and WiFi all have the same issue.

Re: Broadband unreliable

@James32b Couple off things to look at for you, see what your Broadband shield is set to on your account side for the Product.

After that what sky hub are you using, and what did the TP you mention do...

I have all Asus connected and zero issues with anything, the old SR/SE combo also did not have any problems but has been disconnected since April time now! Wireless i can see, wired is strange as it should really stay up but whatsapp calling through the app on a laptop still checks the mobile wireless connection i think!

Re: Broadband unreliable

I think it is an upload speed issue but am by no means an expert. All I know if even simple apps and websites glitch and it is very frustrating!

Re: Broadband unreliable

Same here.  It's been intermittent and unreliable for three days now.  Time to ditch Sky Nrisdband.  I am fed up of paying for such unreliable service.

If the issue is in the individual circuit to your address (as most are) then the next ISP will inherit it unless they are an altnet provider with their own infrastructure.
