Broadband trouble

Anybody else having trouble with broadband today? I purchased the new Jurassic Park film today, and have been attempting to watch it on my sky stream puck with no luck! Five times now my broadband (also from sky) has dropped, and each time I've had to restart sky store! It's really annoying when you're trying to watch a film you've just paid for (on top of what I'm paying sky for my TV and broadband)!

Sky has dropped about 5 times in last 1/2 hr so must be a wider issue

I have spoken to a sky representative, they think it could be to do with the weather, normally my broadband is great, it's just been today for some reason, the representative did say there's been a drop in my upload and download speeds.

Sky supplies over five million properties with broadband: on that scale of operations at any particular point in time there will be thousands of individual Openreach circuits with faults even if no area outages are involved.

I do understand, my problem is with all my sky subscriptions, mobile phone, broadband, and TV, I'm paying sky almost £100 a month and haven't been able to use anything all day today, I don't mind paying for services I can use, but paying for something I can't use doesn't sit right with me, it would be nice of sky to offer a reduction in your bill when services are this bad. The broadband is that bad I've literally only been able to watch DVDs this whole evening!
