Broadband switch timing issues

I'm switching to Sky but sadly the implementation date is whilst I'm away. Apart from not having internet access or landline until I return to install the router, will there be any issues I should be aware of?

If provisioning is over new FTTP then attendance inside the property is required, and installation will be significantly delayed where that's not possible.

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.

@TimmyBGood The infrastructure is all there - I'm just switching like for like from BT to Sky.  Just such a shame it's all happening when I can't be here to do the swap.
