Hi there,
I recently moved property and had my new service put online, however following the 14 day setup period, I noticed we were getting around 42mbps about 2 days ago and now it has dropped to 40mbps compared to the minimum download speed of 45.2, i know not the end of the world, however i have been onto the bt wholesale cabinet website for our address, (which is around 3 meters from our house) and it is showing the following (see attatchment). I have found a few lets say less than ideal repairs (see attatchment) and solved them yesterday with proper crimps but the speeds have not increased. I have looked online and people are saying openreach can do a snr reset, is this the right thing or could it be something else?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Your noise margin is raised which suggests DLM noticed the poor line conditions and limited your speed to compensate. It should resolve itself within 5-10 days (DLM usually runs around 2am). If it doesnt you'd need to call Sky to report the speeed fault who will arrange for Openreach to come out. SNR reset's are not done remotely.

Re: Broadband speeds slowly getting lower
Hi, Signed up for the 1Gb Max broadband, from Vodafone 500mb. I was getting 500mb with Vodafone on their package. I am now getting less the 200mb usually between 100mb and 150mb speeds. I have tried the sky fix which is giving the current speeds. Cannot contact sky to get this matter resolved. Please let me know if there is a solution or are Sky interested in fixing the issue . Tks
