Broadband speed

Evening. I am having speed issues with my broadband. I ran a test on fast.com which I was told to use by the sky engineer. It's saying I'm running at 240mbps and I pay for 500. I've gone through the sky system and it says its ok when it isn't.

@Wolfe21-  What device are you using to measure the speed from and if it is Wi-Fi are you in the same room as the router?
