Broadband speed
I have been having issues with my work from at home. I have spoken to my IT providers at work and they have told me that it is an issue with Broadband at home. I have been told that it is very slow. I have tested the speed at home and it is falling short of what they have told me it should be working with. Given how much we pay can this be resolved please. I have been told it should be 100mg

Re: Broadband speed
@Oakhurst what minimum speed did Sky give you for your connection? You can check thst if you run the full connection test in the My Sky app. Unless you have a full fibre connection the maximum speed Sky could offer is likely to be 80Mb/s and thst requires you to have a short copper line of under 300msto your street cabinet as the speed drops as the lines get longer which particularly affects people living in rural areas..
Hoever speed to the hub is one thing as if you use a poor WiFi link to whatever device you use for work even having a very fast service to the hub becomes ireelevant if the WiFi can only mange a few Mb/s. Those speeds are down to the layout type of construction of your home and are largely out of Sky's hands..
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

100Mbs is typically the Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed for an Ultrafast 1 service, which might be using either G.fast (copper) or FTTP (optical) cabling into the property: it's helpful for forum users to indicate which technology they have in place.
As @Chrisee indicates, GMDS is not the same as WiFi speed (which has a different 'guarantee' that's not really any such thing)
