Broadband speed

I would like to cancel my sky broadband. You charge me 42 pound a month and it is dreadful download speeds are non existent...my child can't even play his computer game because the speed is so slow ...I am a VIP member of nearly 15 years and you rip my eyeballs out every month well I think I will cancel all of my sky to be honest...virgin media are offering everything you offer what I'm paying nearly 150 per month for all for 47 a month

You can't cancel anything by posting here: this isn't primarily a point of contact with Sky.

If you are within any minimum contract period, cancelling can bring financial penalties unless you can demonstrate Sky are failing to deliver the promised service: for broadband that's usually the Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed.  You do need to give the supplier a chance to remedy the situation first.

If you post your Hub stats, we'll have some information about your particular phone line and internet connection to work with.

Note that it's speed arriving at the Hub which counts against the minimum speed guarantee, not speed test website results on a wireless device.
