In the past couple of weeks I've noticed a significant drop in the speed of my Wi-Fi- my minimum guaranteed speed is 55mb but using the service checker I'm now down to 45mb (in the last 14 days average has been 51mb). Each time I use the service checker it says there's an issue with my broadband but once the test is done it says everything looks ok. The other thing I've noticed is the hub itself has been getting hot- much warmer than before- I'm beginning to wonder whether there's an issue with the hub. Any help gratefully received

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Vikki1987 if you have the ER110 Sky hub - flat type with a simple mains lead - they do run quite warm and given the hot weather the case can get quite toasty but never too hot you cant leave your hand on it.
If the Sky test tells you the connection speed is below the minimum guarantee it normally will offer an engineer's check. Test run on a device networked by wifi are often lower due to poor wifi signal which can and does vary. If you post your hub's connection stats somebody can tell what is going on. Hi @Chrisee thanks for responding. My hub is an SR102 which I've had for 8 years now. The weather has made the hub hotter which I understand in the heatwave but it's definitely running warmer usually than it use to.
I've accessed the stats which have been requested but sky won't let me post either by photo or typing them in- if they need the stats I could send to them separately
WAN port status MER
LAN status down all showing as 0
WLAN status up
