Broadband shield
Can I be sure my 11 year old won't be able to play 18 rated games on an Xbox if my restriction is set to pg or 13? Thanks

Re: Broadband shield
Done that but it's tricky as his dad has access to his Xbox account as main holder just wondered if the shield would stop over 18s being accessed on the Xbox as 11 year olds are craft these days and change passwords themselves

Re: Broadband shield
Broadband Shield is designed to prevent youngsters from accessing unsuitable web content, e.g gambling sites, adult sites, and help filter inappropriate content from internet search results. Its not really designed to act as a age-related filter within third party devices/apps, for which you should be turning on the parental controls directly within that service e.g via your XBox profiles.
Specifically for xbox you should probably be looking at creating specific child accounts, seperate from the main adult XBox profile https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/family-hub/child-account
