Broadband shield exception still allowing access - why?

One of my kids came across an adult themed gaming website with some pretty explicit images / videos in an advertising banner - I've logged into Sky's broadband shield and added it by exception to the blocked list, however the site and its adult images can still be readily accessed? Why isn't it being blocked - is there anything else I can do? Many thanks...

@PeteGPeteG you can add specific sites and domains to the block list if you want see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-broadband-shield-sites-not-filtering-correctly

However no parental control app can block all negative content all of the time as site owners use different domains etc to escape blocks - it can be like playing Wack-a-mole -

Thanks @Chrisee  but that's my issue I have added the site address to the block by exception list but despite this the site is still accessible, though I note the more explicit images and videos are blocked but was expecting the whole site to be inaccessible...??

@PeteGPeteG it will depend on how the site is set up you can only block specific domains/addresses if the site uses a variation or multiple versions you are stuck. The block lists agency Sky uses tries to keep up to date but even they are not 100% accurate I think if you follow through the link there is a way to alert them to sites they are missing.

@PeteGPeteG

Realistically that kind of blocking is simply inadequate for the way modern online distribution works.  Sophisticated filtering, as applied by schools for example, is a seriously expensive subscription service.
