Broadband problems

Ever since we were switched over to full fibre, the internet has been awful. On my laptop and the TV, programmes don't load. The picture is pixelated and things buffer for ages, across different channels and platforms.

@Alice_r full fibre should be more reliable but often when the new line is installed the hub is in a different place which can affect the WiFi signal is that a possible cause? Another issue is where Sky have given you a new white hub and you have Sky Q boxes which previously acted as WiFi repeaters but no longer can do that, again is that possible in your home?

Re: Broadband problems

Thanks but the new router is now right by my laptop and I'm still having problems. The TV is now further away from the router though. Should I get some repeaters?

@Alice_r you shouldn't need repeaters for the laptop. Oddly you can be too close the a router as within a metre or so the way the aerials work you can get dead spots so try moving it a bit further away. If you are paying for Sky WiFi Max you can get a pod extender if you call Sky if that doesn't help they should send an engineer out whomcan optimise things for you.
