Broadband outage in Kingswinford

Service checker and a human acknowledged outage in the area that started on 01/10/24! Gave me a number to speak to outreach but it's no good. Anyone any idea where you can find out a likely date to be fixed and what compensation is due for an incomplete service? Thanks, Chris

@BaggieChris

I think you were misinformed. You can't get updates direct from Openreach (not outreach). You have to get updates via your ISP.

The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from 01/04/24 the rates are £9.76 per day).

Spellcheck got me! Thought so but it seems a long time for a fault. Apparently there's a Council planning issue so I'll wait and see. Many thanks 👍🏻
