Broadband not working

Hello, my broadband is not working and I have tried to reset it and turned it off and on again multiple times

To anyone whose connection is down first step is to run the connection test in the My Sky app oveer a mobile connection. That will tell you if there is a known issue affecting your area if not it will try to test your linee which mmay cause the app to offer a check by an engineer. If it doesnt call Sky to report the fault.

 

Loss of service after midnight until 6am is often due to essential maintainance and upgrade work and is unavoidable just like over night road works.

No, but doing such maintenance during the day would have far wider impact.

Openreach and ISPs typically don't notify domestic broadband users about planned maintenance outages: that's a feature of much more expensive business broadband.  I get warnings about actual and potential loss of service on the work FTTPs: those run at about £180pcm each.

Zen Broadband's status site is good to lookup scheduled maintenance in your area. Just do a page search for your landline area code
