Broadband not working for some reason

So as of yesterday, our sky broadband had for some reason started going haywire. The internet light was flashing Amber then going solid Amber then going dark. Then at some point all lights went green and then it all wrong again. This has been repeating for the full 24 hours it's been happening and we do t know what to do. We have already tried our methods we've used when the Wi-Fi acts up and doesn't connect when all four lights are solid green. But it does not work on this problem. We've been meaning to contact Sky but haven't had time and virtual assistant was no help either. So I'm starting a discussion so I can see if anyone is able to help as this is starting to stress my mother out and she already deals with a lot as is. I want to try and help her as best I can.

@TaraFrancis Can you please run the broadband test, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.
https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-broadband-diagnostic/sky-broadband-diagnostic

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.
