Re: Broadband not reaching
@Cl28 In comparison to your BT Complete wifi, do you have the same amount off Sky pods as you had BT disk's?

Re: Broadband not reaching
Hi no, I have no pods. I've looked in detail on the app and am unable to order them .. I have been quite naive tbh in thinking that the black discs could just be used with Sky. I ordered Sky a while ago but didn't get round to changing the router and left the BT smart hub and discs installed and it worked fine. It was only when I ordered Sky puck TV and changed to the Sky router today there was a meltdown with the kids when all their devices wouldn't work. I tried to plug old BT hub back in but it wouldn't work. There doesn't seem to be a way to order the pods on the app?
thanks for replying btw

Re: Broadband not reaching
@Cl28 You cannot order the pods online it does not work that way, you need to call sky and they will go through a diagnostic with you, that will get you one pod only, after that it is a call again and an Engineer will be sent to see if more are required, upto the 3 max limit, linked the details all below for you. And correct the BT Complete wi-fi does not work with the sky units, only with the BT Router, as soon as you changed over and activated the sky Max hub then all working with the old BT Router was removed and NO way back to it!
getting sky max and how to get the pod's

Re: Broadband not reaching
I have a big house and wifi doesn't reach one of the rooms upstairs. I've tried using a Vodafone mifi which helped but I'm now getting an element of disruption in other areas of the house because of the mifi device and it keeps coming up with asking for a password. Does anyone have any advice. We have Sky Max with plug ins but we haven't got access to full fibre.

Re: Broadband not reaching
@Ian251076 Does not matter if you have access to fibre or not, the service is delivered in one off two way's over a copper telephone line to an OR Master phone socket or via a direct connected Full Fibre line.
Sky Max hub attached to the OR Master socket, and then the sky Max Pod connected wireless wi-fi to the sky Max hub. Once pod is connected you move it half way between the area's to be covered, if you move the pod too far then it will not be able to reach the Max hub, if that happens then no extending anywhere, pod light flashes white when it is failed to connect!
