Broadband issue/complaint
Ok so I have a difficult problem,
Long version short, I found that my fibre cable had some damage and is partly severed, giving me boradband intermittent issues.
Tried phoning and did get a engineer arranged, waited two day and got no call, found today the order fro the engineer was gone! called and was told openreach had not found a fault! even though they had not come to my house, tried to arrange another vist and because sky has now decided there is no fault they won't arrange one now!
I have got a number for openreach and did get a engineer come today,BUT as he doesn't deal with fibre he was unable to repair.
So I'm basically stuck as sky won't do anything till the cable breaks, which by then will leave me unable to call,I tried to make a complaint and got nowhere,is there anything else I can do? or any ideas? I've spent half the day on the phone getting nowhere,I am trying to avoind the cable breaking and to get it replaced before that happens but it's like getting blood from a stone.

Re: Broadband issue/complaint
The problem is that both Sky & Openreaches systems will often completely block an engineer appt being made unless it can detect a fault, and since your connection is up most of the time no fault is being detected.
