Hi can someone enlighten me what the attached info means please.

My original activation date was 16th July. Had my ONT box installed but then then they couldnt connect. I had to sign a wayleave to allow digging plus local authority had to give permission.

I kept getting updates then one dating open reach need to lay cables etc.

Now I had another message from sky saying my new installation date is 8th october. However im not aware if any digging or work has been done or not.

I live in a ground floor flat.

Thanks

Re: Broadband installation issues

@MsHe Either there is a major problem or you have the wrong information for the address, but it is indicating OH feed from a Pole, with no anticipated issues, straight cable run Over Head and connected. Digging is underground feed, so look up at the pole and see if there is a CBT installed on top off it, can happen for not getting one if the route to the pole is blocked and OR cannot get Fibre to it!

If you are in a flat, could be you are classed as a MDU, multi dwelling unit, then that is way different and the OR fibre chart from the BTW that you posted may be complete Tosh!

Wayleave also applies to overhead cable where this crosses above someone else's property.
