Broadband in new house
I am moving house on Wednesday 12th August. We would like to have sky broadband as quickly as posisble when we move in. It is a four bedroom house and we both work from home regularly so will need the internet to be able to cope with regular video calls and streaming.

Unfortunately you're already inside the minimum lead time, so you need to place an order as soon as possible (which cannot be done through this forum)

What's actually available at the address is down to its individual location: if there's FTTP in the area then previous slower broadband products cannot be ordered anyway.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Broadband in new house
I presume this is a new Sky order, not a Sky House Move of an existing subscription.
In addition to the above, hubs for new activations are normally dispatched via Royal Mail to arrive a 'few days' prior to the activation date.
Once dispatched you should be able to track it through Royal Mail. The postman/woman will usually leave it hidden if no one is in. You shouldn't need to sign for it.
They should also pop a card through the letterbox telling you where it was left and the tracking should show some information on it too.
It's worth clarifying that Sky broadband discussed here is a domestic service and whilst Sky are apparently fine with its customers working from home using it for this purpose they won't receive any additional or quicker support.
