Broadband dropping regularly at the same time

Broadband dropping regularly at the same time

Over the past month, a couple of time a week my broadband drops connection. One of my neighbours is a telecom engineer and he has kindly checked all my wiring and phone ports and has confirmed they are all 100%.

I have copied & pasted the Recent Activity Log below. If anyone could help I would be grateful.

@drobertz thst log looks pretty normal for a hub restarting. Occasional restarts in the early hours are not that unusual as Sky and Openreach do house keeping and maintenance at times of lower demand so assuming the service runs normally at other times can be ignored. 12.30am is pretty early but in the absence of other symptoms is the most likely cause.

Re: Broadband dropping regularly at the same time

I did not have any issues with my previous IP (Plusnet) with connection dropping out several times a month at the same time of the day. I find it unusal that it's only happened since joining Sky.

@drobertz  both Sky and Plusnet use the same line from the exchange to your home so line maintenance could have caused issues at any time. There are no timers or systems in the Sky hub that could cause your loss of service. Therefore I suspect its coincidental.
