Broadband dropping out constantly

For past 24 hours the router has been disconnecting. Shows no apparent issues in the area and the tests all show okay when though the Internet light is off on the box. Have reset and unplugged several times but connects then drops. Seems a lot of posts for last 24 hours on here about the same thing so is it a wider sky issue?

Yeah the power light is on but Internet is off. Says there's a problem and to run the checker. I do that and it tells me everything's fine but obviously its not as I have no Internet connection and the light is off...

There are no more posts on here than I would expect to see on a typical day. Sky has nearly 6 million broadband customers so at any one time they'll be a few having an issue. 

If you're still having a problem you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.
