Does broadband have a down time? I have noticed on multiple occasions that the broadband doesn't work (therefore my sky stream doesn't work) between the hours of 3 and 4am. Really quite annoying when can't sleep at night and trying to watch something on TV. Don't have TV aerial so am limited to what I can put on.
At the times you mention it's possibly maintenance related. This is done overnight to minimise disruption as most customers are asleep.
