Intermittent total loss of internet connection in MK12 area, anyone else having these issues? Self checker as always states 'everything is working well' Very helpful when clearly it is not!

@JonKR

If the whole of the MK12 area was impacted then the forum would be full of posts reporting the issue which it isn't currently.

Probably a local 1 broadband issue or your internet routing zone has failed. Recommend you establish what lights are on the router, report whether you have fibre (FTTP) and get in contact with Sky if it doesn't return to functioning within an hour.

And you could try rebooting the router or leaving it off for an hour to establish a new internet zone.

-------

Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). SAT> IP (Apple 4K 2nd gen TV to LG C1 OLED UHD TV/Dolby Atmos Denon AVR, DacMagic Plus for Hi-Res audio), hosting own blog/forum (cluster), OPNsense & Zenarmor L4/L7 NGFW & DPI IDS/IPS, Asus ET12 Pro Tri-Band wifi, Linux, Gamer: Xbox Series X/i7 laptop, round-robin DNS over HTTPS, non-proprietary VoIP HD AMR-WB (G.722.2) and more... Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.

Re: Broadband down in MK12 area?!?

Thank you for responding, I was surprised that there were not more reports of the same kind of issue in the area; the issue was intermittent for seveal hours and yes, we had tried the hub reboot and leaving it switched off for a long period.  The issue eventually stabilised later in the day.

Cheers.
