Broadband delivery

Hi all new to sky just ordered the broadband to my new home I've accidentally ordered it to the new address before someone is gonna be there and I have no access to the property till the 12th September if no one is in will Royal Mail take it back and then would I be able to pick it up from them or rearrange the delivery? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to all this

Re: Broadband delivery

@katie273 Is the property empty at present 3 weeks away currently! It may go RM but then sky may send it by DPD so who knows which way it's going to happen!

@katie273  If you mean the hub itself (your actual broadband service isn't sent through the post)  Royal Mail will try to deliver it, if no one is hiome will usually leave a card where you'll be able to collect from the local sorting office.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@katie273

Hubs are normally dispatched via Royal Mail to arrive a few days prior to the activation date. Once sent out you can usually track its progress. The postie will usually leave it hidden if no one is in. The card through the letterbox will tell you where it was left and the tracking should show some information on it too.

Re: Broadband delivery

If there is a tracking/consignment number then the parcel can be delivered to a post office of your choosing through here https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item
