Broadband contract ending too soon?

Hi. My bills say I am paying a reduced subscription until January 2027. I have also recently been upgraded from Superfast to Fibre at no extra cost, with Sky saying my current deal would continue. My bill now says my broadband will be out of contact from March 2026, so I'll go on the full rate, unless I fix for 2 years (at a higher price than currently). Is this likely to be an error on Sky's side of am I missing something?

@Divmc66 You do need to check the start date for your 24 month period, but here is the help link below, if you were to Jan 2027 then it should stand, did you per chance take a higher speed package than the straight free fibre like for like offer?

Re: Broadband contract ending too soon?

Hi Jim

No. Sky contacted me to say copper was being replaced with fibre, so If have a faster connection with no change to cost or package.

I've now taken plenty of screenshots of my contract and bills, along with the original discussion. So, hoping they have made a mistake, but have plenty of ammo if they do now increase it. Thanks

Re: Broadband contract ending too soon?

@Divmc66 Go for it then, there is the increase £3 starting 1st April on the yearly one see that sitting on my Future Bills, i did the Copper/Fibre change, the Free is the £100 saving, but as the FF100 was not going to be enough i did select the FF500 option, that started off a higher payment to be expected though, cant have the old cake and eat it know what i mean!

Sounds good. The 100 was enough for us, now the kids have left home. 4k movies probably as stretched as it will ever get stretched. Thanks for your replies.
