If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

Mine has too. Dropping internet (not Wi-Fi) several times today. A power down and power back up fixes it but this has happened about 6 times today. Not a sustainable service if we keep having to do this.

The test shows nothing up as when you run it broadband is back and 4 green lights are on. But that doesn't change the fact that the modem / router lost connection of its own accord six times today. There's something else wrong in the whole set up that the broadband checker isn't designed to detect.

Same here you do the test they tell you to unplug everything start plugging everything in one by one test again sometimes it comes back sometimes it doesn't. Takes 15 minutes 3 to 4 times a day, not good practice not good service.
