Hi everyone,
I am new here.
I have been having issues with my broadband connection since the beginning. Despite the troubleshooting and attempts to fix this, I am still unable to connect my devices in the bedroom after months.
I live in a one bedroom flat and the wi-fi works only in the livingroom where the router is connected. When I move to the bedroom (which is litteraly two steps away from the livingroom) the signal disappear and I am unable to connect. I have to use the data with my phone and I am unable to use my laptop.
I have requested a signal booster, but I was told that Sky does not provide it. I am quite disappointed.
Could anyone help me on this, please?
Thank you!
Laura C.

Hi!
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, I have asked for a signal booster but they did not provide it!

Sky only provide boosters to those who have the Sky Boost addon for broadband. If you dont have it you'll need to take it or look at repositioning your router.

@Highlinder I don't think it is part of my package, because the call centre said that they could not provide it, which is strange.

@jamesn123 thank you for your message.
I have tried to change the position of the router, but if I put it in the bedroom, I do not have wi-fi in the living room.

@jamesn123 It is mid hight. Like if it was on a stool.

You may need to look at getting a booster. If you dont want to take the Broadband boost addon you could look at purchasing a booster one off, they are usually £65.

@jamesn123 It may be. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate it.
To be honest, I would like Sky to provide the booster. I will try to call them today.
