Broadband booster to take a week to order due to system issue

Just moved house and paying £55pm for 600-900mbps. It is falling far below that.

the lady I spoke to was lovely, but due to internal system issues at SKY she can't order a booster (thank you for booster, and it's not her fault).

She has raised an IT ticket. The bit I don't get is she will be off for 4 days so won't be able to start processing the booster order until then due to their system issue.

Surely a huge organisation like SKY shouldn't have customer issues being delayed by days just because one colleague is on leave?

Hi @Ian931

For starters your paying for 600-900mbps over ethernet not WiFi, so even with a booster you may not get near those speeds over WiFi.

Secondly the booster order should be able to be processed by anyone so you may want to just phone back and get someone else to place the order.
