Broadband booster needed

Hi everyone,

I am a sky broadband customer and my broadband won't reach my upstairs. I have tried a normal branded wifi booster and it doesn't seem to be working.
Does anyone know how I would go about securing a sky broadband booster please?

@Charlie2899

Sky loans their booster hardware to broadband subscribers who have the 'Broadband Boost' add-on, or those with the WiFi Max product.  You'll also find some Sky boosters have made it onto auction sites: those aren't particularly legitimate as they shouldn't be on sale anywhere.

how to I go about getting the Broadband boost package please?

Do I need to upgrade? Or just simply call and ask for it?

@Charlie2899 check you maybe able to add it from the My Sky app if you can't give Sky a call however note the speed guarantee is only 3Mb/s so its not that good value. You msy want to consider turning off the Sky hub's wifi and buying a whole home wifi set up and run that in Access Point mode it would not cost much more although there are complications if you have Sky Q.
