I have had Sky Broadband Superfast (FTTC) for over 6 years with download speeds (at the router) of 24 Mbps originally. It has varied up and down over the years between 21 and 26 Mbps but from being consistently around 24 Mbps in the first half of 2024 it has now been reduced to a (rather surprisingly) fixed 20000 Kbps.
I have been through all the Sky checks which say no problems and powered off/on and reset the router - no change, remains exactly 20000 Kbps.
Do the router stats give a clue as to whether I have a technical problem or have Sky deliberately set down my speed to encourage me to upgrade to Full Fibre Broadband, which I keep getting adverts for?
Thanks for any help
