Broadband Speed Issues

For the past month , my broadband speed has not been performing as expected. The official speed test on the Sky website does not reflect the actual performance I’m experiencing. I’ve carried out multiple tests using different methods and websites, and the results consistently show lower speeds than what is stipulated in my contract.

To clarify:

  • Tests on my PlayStation were done via a wired connection.
  • All other tests were conducted over Wi-Fi.

I would appreciate a clear solution to this issue. If the problem persists, I will need to consider switching to a provider that can guarantee the contracted speeds.

@Danghel26 You say not what connection type you have, what sky hub you have, what package you bought from sky and most importantly if you are testing via a wireless wi-fi or a physical Ethernet connection to the sky Hub the play station network test is notorious for giving the wrong result's either wired/wireless?

When you look at the service checker from sky how does the daily average look over the 30 day period!
