Broadband Setup Issue

Sky AI voice on telephone performed a Broadband check, and said that there is an Issue with the Home Setup.

 

Furthermore, when using devices, e.g., Xbox the Ping often goes from approx. 5 to Wifi Issues / Lost connectivity and approx 200 Ping, for short durations, interupting the game via lost signal.

 

The installer who fitted our broadband may have caused a faulty wire.

 

Please help.

Hi @JoshuaCohen 

If you run the test on the My Sky app, does it flag the same issues? If so does it not give you help on how to resolve it or to contact Sky?

Sky have arranged engineering assistance if unable to resolve internally.

 

Ping normally 3-5, but spikes to 250 Ping for a few seconds, regularly. Unideal.

Conntinous ideal Ping and repair/amendment hopefully doable.
