Broadband Policy
Just had our engineer visit to our flat who told us they were only able to set up the wifi from the first plug socket away from the door. What? The first plug socket is in an extremely narrow hallway with nowhere for the wifi box to go. I asked for gigafast broadband so i don't understand why you need to drill through walls if it's full fibre. We already have an existing virgin media connection in our living room which we just wanted replacing with sky but apparently you won't do that because it's your policy that it has to be the first plug socket from the front door. So it's either replace the existing connection or lose out on custom because we weren't ever informed that the wifi would have to be in a specific place that wouldn't work for us.

Re: Broadband Policy
@Ki4 The company who install the fibre lines is Openreach who own the network and infastructor, they will place the ONT in a place that is most cost effective for them, you can run a ethernet cable from the ONT to where you want the hub located.
Sky can't just replace the connection that Virgin Media use as that is Virgin Medias property an only they can use or remove it.
